Jack LeVeck
[edit] Biography
Jack LeVeck (Jack Charles LeVeck) was born on February 3, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio. After going to high school at Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH), LeVeck attended Ohio University. Jack was named a 2nd Team All-American while playing at Ohio University. Scouts from the Cleveland Browns consistently watched LeVeck during his senior year, and they even came back at the end of the season to run Jack through a series of tests. LeVeck did well running a 4.7 40 yard dash, and he was told by a scout to stay by his phone as he might be drafted. However, he was not drafted but received his chance with the Cardinals. LeVeck made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1974 was Jack LeVeck's best year.
