Jack Keefer (Jackson Milliman Keefer) was born on May 1, 1900 in Olney, Illinois. After going to high school at Steele (Dyaton, OH), Keefer attended Brown University and the University of Michigan. Keefer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Providence Steam Roller. He played for the Dayton Triangles and Providence Steam Roller over the course of his 2 year career.
