Jack Hoey (John Bernard Hoey) was born on November 10, 1881 in Watertown, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on June 27, 1906 for the Boston Americans. In 1906, his rookie year, he hit .244 with 0 home runs and 24 RBI. Hoey played for the Boston Americans and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 3 year career.
