Jack Hammond (Walter Charles Hammond) was born on February 26, 1891 in Amsterdam, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1915 for the Cleveland Indians. Hammond played for the Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 2 year career.
