Born on November 13, 1914 in Toledo, Ohio, Jack Hallett (Jack Price Hallett) played for the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Giants over the course of his 6 year career. Hallett broke into the bigs on September 13, 1940 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 6.03 ERA in 74.2 innings pitched in 1941, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jack Hallett's best season was 1946, when he posted a 3.29 ERA and struck out 64 batters.
