[edit] Biography

Jack Fournier (John Frank Fournier) was born on September 28, 1889 in Au Sable, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on April 13, 1912 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1913, his rookie year, he hit .233 with 1 home run and 23 RBI. Fournier played for the Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Robins and Boston Braves over the course of his 14 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Jack Fournier's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1925, when he slugged 22 home runs, hit for a .350 average and knocked in 130 runs. However, others believe that it was 1921, when he slugged 16 home runs, hit for a .343 average and knocked in 86 runs.
