Jack Fleischman (Gofrid Jacob Fleischman) was born on August 15, 1901 in Monroe, Michigan. After going to high school at East Detroit (Eastpointe, MI), Fleischman attended Purdue University. Fleischman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Detroit Panthers. He played for the Providence Steam Roller and Detroit Panthers over the course of his 5 year career.
