Born on March 4, 1939 in Frostburg, Maryland, Jack Fisher (John Howard Fisher) played for the Baltimore Orioles, San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 11 year career. Fisher broke into the bigs on April 14, 1959 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 3.05 ERA in 88.2 innings pitched in 1959, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jack Fisher's best season was 1966, when he posted a 3.68 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 127 batters.
