Jack Ellena (Jack Duane Ellena) was born on October 27, 1931 in Susanville, California. After going to high school at Lassen (Susanville, CA), Ellena attended Lassen Community College and the University of California - Los Angeles. Ellena made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1955 was Jack Ellena's best year.
