Jack Clark (Jack Anthony Clark) was born on November 10, 1955 in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 12, 1975 for the San Francisco Giants. In 1977, his rookie year, he hit .252 with 13 home runs and 51 RBI. Clark played for the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, San Diego Padres and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 18 year career.

Most people believe that Jack Clark's best season was 1978, when he slugged 25 home runs, hit for a .306 average and knocked in 98 runs.
