Jack Allen (Cyrus Alban Allen) was born on October 2, 1855 in Woodstock, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on May 1, 1879 for the Syracuse Stars. Allen played for the Syracuse Stars and Cleveland Spiders over the course of his 1 year career.
