Born on in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, J. Fisher (J. Fisher) played for the Philadelphia Keystones and Buffalo Bisons over the course of his 2 year career. Fisher broke into the bigs on July 17, 1884 with the Philadelphia Keystones, and put up a 3.57 ERA in 70.2 innings pitched in 1884, his rookie year.
