J.T. Turner (James Denis Turner) was born on April 17, 1953 in Moultrie, Georgia. After going to high school at Ben Franklin (Philadelphia, PA), Turner attended Duke University. Turner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Washington Redskins over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was J.T. Turner's best year.
