[edit] BiographyPersonal J.R. was a member of the CJFL champion Edmonton Huskies and named CJFL all-star in 2004. He graduated from Scona High School in Edmonton. J.R. is involved with the Enough is Enough campaign and works with aboriginal students. Pro Invited to 2005 training camp as an area-protected junior.Played one game for the Eskimos in 2005 at BC on August 5. Played in all 18 games, starting the last 11 games of the season. LaRose was impressive with 26 defensive tackles, 13 special teams tackles, three pass knockdowns, two fumble returns and one forced fumble. LaRose played in all 18 games (14 starts) at safety and on special teams. He recorded 33 defensive tackles, nine special teams tackles, five knockdowns and two fumble recoveries.
