Ivey Shiver (Ivey Merwin Shiver) was born on January 22, 1907 in Sylvester, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1931 for the Detroit Tigers. Shiver played for the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
