Iverson Demands Trade

With the Philadelphia 76ers sitting at an awful 5-12 (a bad mark even by Eastern Conference standards), Allen Iverson has reportedly demanded that Philly GM Billy King trade him to a contender. According to insiders, interested teams include the Celtics, Nuggets, Warriors, Timberwolves, and several others. The New York Post reports that King would even be willing to surrender Andre Iguodala or Samuel Dalembert to make a deal happen, and he is also interested in ridding the Sixers of Chris Webber and his unwieldy contract. Equal value for A.I. may be difficult to acquire in a trade, however, because Iverson's contract is just as bloated as Webber's. Still, dealing Iverson seems to be priority number one for Philadelphia's front office.
