Ivan Cruz (Luis Ivan Cruz) was born on May 3, 1968 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on July 18, 1997 for the New York Yankees. Cruz played for the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career.
