Is James Thrash the Redskins Best Receiver?

Whispers are starting to grow out of Redskins camp about the solid play of veteran wide-receiver James Thrash, who appears poised to show up Brandon Lloyd and Mike Espy for time at the slot receiver position.
Thrash has been a special teams fixture in Philly and Washington since 1997, when he went undrafted out of Missouri Southern. In the last ten years, he has proven to be a decent receiver, and has several clutch catches for the Redskins during his two stops in Washington.
It's no secret that it's Satana's town when it comes to receivers, and that Antwaan Randle El is the other viable option. But check out the list of clownboots who have been outlasted by the Thrasher:
Willie Anderson, Laveranues Coles, Albert Connell, Chris Doering, Irving Fryar, Rod Gardner, Jacquez Green, Alvin Harper, Taylor Jacobs, Patrick Johnson, Kevin Lockett, Darnerian McCants, David Patten, Cliff Russell, Leslie Shepherd, Derrius Thompson, Michael Westbrook.
Admittedly, many of those receivers fall into a couple of categories: Spurrier's Gator Love, washed-up superstars, no-names who came outta no where and went right back, and draft busts. Thrash has outlasted them all, and it appears he's not stopping anytime soon.
