Is Hope Alive!

[1] Is there hope? Or do the Cleveland Indians still have the advantage? Winning Game 3 gives the New York Yankees a chance. More work is needed or it's over.
The Yankees are still down, and their chances are small. Game 4 is needed, it's their last chance.
Joe Torre is finished, because George Steinbrenner isn't happy the way his team is playing. "His [Joe Torre] job is on the line," said Steinbrenner "I think we're paying him a lot of money. He's the highest-paid manager in baseball, so I don't think we'd take him back if we don't win this series.
It's over for Torre. He hasn't done anything in the playoffs, and it's killing the Yankees. "We all love Torre, and we would love for him to win another championship," Johnny Damon said. "I think Torre is a guy who commands a lot of respect. He's meant so much to the Yankees organization." It doesn't matter, Torre isn't winning. He's brought championships to New York, but that's the past.
Torre had to expect this; his job isn't easy.
Game 3 against the Indians looked easy. Many players produced, and Alex Rodriguez played decent. "A big win right now would take a lot of pressure off all of us," Rodriguez said before the game. "Again, I know what I'm doing, I've just got to fix it" The pressure isn't off, because the Yankees are still failing.
"We're a good enough offense, scoring over 900 runs. We know what we have to do to score," Rodriguez said. "If we're on our game, it doesn't matter who's on the mound." The line-up is great, but not in the playoffs. They were producing in game 3, but don't expect it to continue.
Rodriguez was 2-4, with 1 run. He played decent, and it was helpful.
With Roger Clemens pitching trouble materialize, pitching 2 inning and allowing 3 runs. "It got to a point where I can't put these guys in a hole," Clemens said. "I've been trying everything I possibly could to get it right." Nothing was right for Clemens, hopefully he retires. He's old, and losing his talent.
Ryan Garko singled, and Asdrubal Cabrera scored. The first inning score was 1-0.
Top of the second, Trot Nixon homered to deep right. The Indians lead, 2-0.
Jhonny Peraltra doubled, and Travis Hafner scored. The third inning, the Indians were cruising. 3-0 score.
In the third, the Yankees took control. Damon singled, and Hideki Matsui scored. The Yankees first run, 3-1.
Melky Cabrera singled, and Matsui scored. Damon homered, Robinson Cano and Cabrera scored. 5-3 score, The Yank's lead.
Sixth inning, Cano singled and Rodriguez scored. Jorge Posada and Matsui scored as well, because of Nixon's throwing error. The Yankees were up, 8-3.
Nixon singled, and Peraltra scored. The final score was 8-4.
The Yankees have confidences, now they need to use it.
