Irving Fryar (Irving Dale Fryar) was born on September 28, 1962 in Mount Holly, New Jersey. After going to high school at Rancocas Valley (Mount Holly, NJ), Fryar attended the University of Nebraska. Fryar made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins over the course of his 17 year career.
Most people believe that 1996 was Irving Fryar's best year, as he hauled in 88 receptions, had 1195 receiving yards and caught 11 TD passes.
