Irv Smith (Irvin Martin Smith) was born on October 13, 1971 in Trenton, New Jersey. After going to high school at Pemberton (NJ), Smith attended the University of Notre Dame. Smith made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1995 was Irv Smith's best year, as he hauled in 45 receptions.
