Irv Noren (Irving Arnold Noren) was born on November 29, 1924 in Jamestown, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1950 for the Washington Senators. In 1950, his rookie year, he hit .295 with 14 home runs and 98 RBI. Noren played for the Washington Senators, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Athletics and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Irv Noren's best season was 1950, when he hit for a .295 average and knocked in 98 runs.
