Irv Jeffries

Irv Jeffries (Irvine Franklin Jeffries) was born on September 10, 1905 in Louisville, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on April 30, 1930 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1931, his rookie year, he hit .224 with 2 home runs and 16 RBI. Jeffries played for the Chicago White Sox and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 3 year career.
