Ira Haaven (Ira Laen Haaven) was born on June 6, 1894 in McIntosh, Minnesota. After going to high school at McIntosh (MN), Haaven attended Hamline University. Haaven made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Duluth Kelleys. He played for the Duluth Kelleys for his entire 1 year career.
