Interview With Georges Laraque

A year ago, Sportsdot did an interview with the Edmonton Oilers' super-enforcer Georges Laraque. Because hockey interest was low at the time and the quality of the interview was not great, they did not publish it till now -- when Laraque is playing for the Stanley Cup, and seeing alot of ice time.
Here's one of the questions and answers -- you'll have to go to Sportsdot to read the rest:
Sportsdot: I guess no one grows up wanting to be an enforcer. I know in bantam at Bourassa you had 40 points in 28 games. The the next year you had 30 points in 37 games at the midget level in Montreal. Then 2 years later at St. Jean you had 259 PIM in 62 games. My question is, how does that happen. Did the coach tell you "you've got to protect the team?" Did you take it on yourself?
Laraque: Coach doesn't say anything, it's up to you to be the player you want to be to make it. I did everything i could to make all the change on my side
