Indians Add Four Including Joe-Bo

Staying true to their word that they would add payroll and bullpen help, the Cleveland Indians have added four free agents in the last two weeks, including three relievers.
The biggest deal was signed yesterday when the Tribe added Joe Borowski as their new closer with a one-year contract with a club option for 2008.
Borowski posted 36 saves in 43 tries last season for the Florida Marlins. He was close to finalizing a two-year deal last week with Philadelphia, but the Phillies declined due to results of medical tests performed on his right shoulder.
The Indians had their doctors examine the 35-year-old Tuesday, and apparently felt Borowski was worth taking a chance on.
The Indians also added an every-day left-fielder in David Dellucci who signed a three-year, $11.5 million contract on Tuesday. Dellucci was promised a chance to play everyday unless he struggles against left-handed pitchers.
Last week, the Indians signed a pair of veteran setup men, Roberto Hernandez and Aaron Fultz.
