Ike Lassiter (Isaac Thomas Lassiter) was born on November 15, 1940 in Wilson, North Carolina. After going to high school at Charles H. Darden (Wilson, NC), Lassiter attended St. Augustine's College. Lassiter made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 8 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos over the course of his 8 year AFL career.Lassiter also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the New England Patriots and Boston Patriots over the course of his 2 year NFL career.
