Ike Forte (Donald R. Forte) was born on March 8, 1954 in Texarkana, Arkansas. After going to high school at Texarkana (AR), Forte attended Tyler Junior College and the University of Arkansas. Forte made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New England Patriots. He played for the Washington Redskins, New England Patriots and New York Giants over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1980 was Ike Forte's best year.
