Ike Eichrodt (Frederick George Eichrodt) was born on January 6, 1903 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1925 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1927, his rookie year, he hit .221 with 0 home runs and 25 RBI. Eichrodt played for the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 4 year career.
