Born on January 3, 1949 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Ike Brookens (Edward Dwain Brookens) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 1 year career. Brookens broke into the bigs on June 17, 1975 with the Detroit Tigers.
