In Summer 2005 the Mets were staying at the same hotel that I was at in LA. I saw met many of the smaller players (like Roberto Hernandez) and had the opportunity to talk to the mets former General Manager Jim Duquette who told me Pedro was hiding in the corner of the hotel restaurant. When Pedro heard I was from Connecticut he was surprised I wasn't a Red Sox fan. He said he lives in CT and he's a Red Sox fan.
