I have a question

Recntly I have been adding player pages for my favorite team Arsenal. However, I have come across a slight problem where I do not know what to do to procede so I thought I would ask in this forum. I was going to add player pages for former Arsenal players Jack Lambert and Tony Adams only to discover that these pages already exist, different people same name. This also occurred in one of latest articles when I linked the name Scott Parker, the page was not for the Scott Parker I was discussing. My question is what is the proper method for handling such cases?
