This was a baseball game. Kevin Youkilis is a RED SOX. Any other affiliation is irrelevant with respect to baseball. What made baseball great, at least after 1947 and really, after Youkilis' team acquired the services of one Elijah Pumpsie Green, was that all that mattered was what team the player played for.
