I Need Two Counterfeit Tickets in the LastRow

Is there anything such as a “Sold Out” sporting event anymore? Okay, I know the term derives from the fact that a respective ticket office of a team particular doesn’t have anymore tickets to sell to the public, however all of us know there is tickets to be had some place. The question used to be, “Can I even get any tickets”? Well in today’s world that question has been replaced by the question, “How much do I want to pay for tickets”…How much is it worth to see our favorite team in person? While everybody shares the same love & passion for their team, the answer to that very important question will vary.

Ticket scalpers are a dime of dozen…Why they always seem to have a fist full of tickets. Doesn’t that just piss you off…Some Bone Smuggler has 15 tickets for sale for three times face value and you don’t have a single one. Thanks to the advent & growth of what we call this here, the Internet, (the place where a lucky individual has the distinct pleasure of reading my Sports ScuttleButt on a daily basis) our ticket resources to sold out sporting events, have grown bigger than the late, great, Andre the Giant. Thanks to Ebay, Stubhub, and whatever else, we can sit on our assess, (like I’m doing right now typing this, with the occasional scratching) and searching for tickets. Thank you technology for everyday making our country lazier & lazier. Also, it would be out of line if I didn’t pay technology another big thanks…This time for RIPPING US OFF AS WE BUY COUNTERFIT TICKETS PRODUCED BY MR. TECH HIMSELF!

Yes, few are fortunate enough to buy tickets for big time games through the ticket box office. Unfortunately in the cold sports society in which we live today, this is only the true, safest way of seeing a major sporting event. Let’s take these three knuckleheads from New York…Charged Tuesday with selling counterfeit tickets to Notre Dame football games the past two weeks. Weird thing is, I probably saw these assholes walking up & down Angela Street a few weeks back at the Penn State game. Selling tickets (although the fake variety for $150 a pop) Let me guess, you guys were the Three Stooges who were holding up four fingers on your left hand, but in your right hand you had six tickets…Yeah, I saw you! So you had six, but you needed four, I’m not the smartest dude (ingrown butt hair) in the world, but genius “Look in your other hand, you have tickets right there!”…GOSH, Idiots! However, even if I didn’t have tickets, I would have to be drunk for a week straight to buy from people who do this?

Ironically, I saw an unfortunate incident counterfeit tickets at the Georgia Tech-Notre Dame game. People right in front of me were about to enter the gate, when they learned their tickets weren’t real. Reason being, Georgia Tech didn’t have a section that appeared on their tickets…Funny thing is tickets were exactly the same as my real ones. Now whether they knew their tickets were fake or not, I didn’t stick around to find out. Now of course this doesn’t happen for the annual epic battle between Idaho-Wyoming (sorry guys, that game doesn’t get enough hype from ABC/ESPN), but is it just me or doesn’t this sort of thing constantly tend to happen around college athletics the most? Particularly football & basketball? Sure, it always happens surrounding events such as the Super Bowl & all the parties, NBA Finals, World Series, but really that’s about it. Although, there’s no purpose for fake tickets for an Atlanta Hawk pick-up game or Pittsburgh Pirate pepper game.

So what’s the crime on selling counterfeit Notre Dame tickets …Oh just $5,000 bail each. If convicted, each faces two to eight years in prison. How about just a royal beat down? Speaking of crimes, okay this might sound retarded or off the wall, but go with me on this one…I just finished eating a “retard sandwich”. If you ask me the crime of producing & selling counterfeit tickets is bigger than the whole steroids issue out there. Let’s face it, honestly what are steroids doing to us as fans, really…Nothing! It doesn’t hurt us…Might affect us in a small capacity. Okay, so it’s cheating to the pinnacle, I’ll give you that, but does this really affect us, not really. Why until this problem became so public we were blind to the entire thing…Embracing it there for a while. Remember, “Chicks dig the long ball”? By no stretch of the imagination am I condoning the usage of steroids in sports, both knowningly or unknowingly, whatever the case is, but, meanwhile, fake tickets affect every sports fan out there…The common fan, you & me! This is another form of cheating! What I can’t figure out is if somebody’s smart enough to make these fake tickets, why aren’t they producing & printing their own money? Now see, that there would be considered a Federal Offense! One capitalizing on fake shit to gain benefit for oneself. Funny, aren’t these two on in the same though? Far cry from $5,000 bail & eight years in prison for virtually the same crime, don’t you think? For all these Hooligans wanting to take our hard earned money, and toying with our passion that we have for our beloved teams…I say “Ship them out & deport them to Guantanamo Bay!” Enjoy the Good Life Down There!

A) The Pirates SUCK at pepper,

2)Counterfeiting money screws the government (always a no-no), counterfeit tickets only hurt people (we've got plenty of them),

III) +Norm!,

Fourthly) It's probably the boosters who are benefitting from fake ticket sales, then they turn around and give the money to the players, and

Lastly) Anyone who counterfeits tickets for the last row must've had TWO large retard sandwiches with pickled taint and extra dipshit...

In fact, the punishment for counterfeiting money is up to 15 years in prison, which means you would only do about 18 months if it was your 1st felony charge. So, Ironicly, if the manditory punishment is eight years in prison for counterfiting sporting event tickets(which I very seriously doubt), then its pretty damn harsh! Hell, poeople murder people and spend less than eight years in the slammer. Check your facts. But I agree getting ripped off sucks.
