I Miss Harold Reynolds

The 2006 Home Run Derby is on, and announcing it are Chris Berman and Harold Reynolds. Berman is giving his normal "BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK GONE!" and "HE HIT THAT ONE ALL THE WAY TO (insert distant town)," and as usual, he's insufferable. The only saving grace is Harold Reynolds, who is my all-time favorite baseball analyst.
He was fired by ESPN on July 25, 2006, for allegedly sexually harassing female employees. That's a serious accusation, and it's something that Harold has declared himself innocent of doing. In spite of what anybody might believe about whether or not that's true (I'm inclined to say he's clean, but I'm biased), there's almost no debate that the loss of Harold has contributed greatly to the decline of Baseball Tonight as a quality baseball highlight show.
His replacement was Steve Phillips, failed Mets GM and also alleged sexual harasser. Phillips contributes asinine opinions and apparently is there just to argue with John Kruk. Now, when Steve Berthiaume introduces the rest of the Baseball Tonight crew, he should replace "the Baseball Tonight cavalcade of stars" with "the Baseball Tonight cavalcade of morons." The only people that I have any respect for on that show are Orel Hershiser, Tim Kurkjian, and Buster Olney, and they don't appear enough compared to the other "experts."
Does anybody else miss the dream team of Karl Ravech, Peter Gammons, and Harold Reynolds? Those were the good old days. Now aseball Tonight is just a step away from being the baseball version of Around the Horn.
I've also noticed that Ravech has been appearing less and less as the host, and I can only guess it's because he doesn't want to be associated with the other members of that panel. Every so often, he'll look at somebody, maybe Kruk after he says something stupid, and just say, "That's ridiculous."
I feel bad for Karl Ravech and I miss Harold Reynolds.
