Born on October 1, 1869 in Tenafly, New Jersey, Huyler Westervelt (Huyler Westervelt) played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career. Westervelt broke into the bigs on April 21, 1894 with the New York Giants, and put up a 5.04 ERA in 141 innings pitched in 1894, his rookie year.
