Hugh Green (Hugh Donell Green) was born on July 27, 1959 in Natchez, Mississippi. After going to high school at North (Natchez, MS), Green attended the University of Pittsburgh. Green made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was Hugh Green's best year, as he ran back 2 interceptions for touchdowns.
