Hugh Grant (Hugh E. Grant) was born on December 24, 1902. After going to high school at St. Mary's (Berkeley, CA), Grant attended St. Mary's College of California. Grant made his professional debut in the NFL in 1928 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
