Howie Moss (Howard Glenn Moss) was born on October 17, 1918 in Gastonia, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1942 for the New York Giants. Moss played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
