Howie Brown (Howard Kenneth Brown) was born on January 26, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio. Brown attended Indiana University. Brown made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 3 year career.
