Howard Kindig (Howard Wayne Kindig, Jr.) was born on June 22, 1941 in Mexico, Missouri. After going to high school at Mexico (MO), Kindig attended Los Angeles State and Moberly Junior College. Kindig made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the San Diego Chargers. He played in the AFL for 5 years, playing for the San Diego Chargers and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 5 year AFL career.Kindig also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 4 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1966 was Howard Kindig's best year.
