Acquired:
Signed as a free agent with the Ticats on June 20, 2007
2007:
Played in four games with the Arena Football League’s Nashville Kats, making eight total tackles (7 solo)…in his AFL debut, a 58-56 season opening loss to Columbus Hodges made a season high 3.5 total tackles (3 solo)…made 1.5 total tackles (1 solo) in Nashville’s 63-30 loss to Philadelphia on March 9th…in the Kats 69-55 victory over Utah on March 18th Hodges made two solo tackles…made one solo tackle in Nashville’s 70-63 victory at Austin on March 24th…was released by Nashville on March 26th and subsequently signed to their practice roster two days later…was released on May 1st…re-signed to Nashville practice roster on May 8th…was released on June 15th.
2005:
Re-signed with San Diego on January 24th…was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list and missed the season due to a knee injury suffered while playing in NFL Europe during the spring…played in all 10 games for the Frankfurt Galaxy, making three starts at outside linebacker.
2004:
The San Diego Chargers signed Hodges as an un-drafted free-agent on May 7th…attended the Chargers training camp and was released on September 5th…was subsequently signed to the Chargers practice roster on September 22nd…was released by San Diego on October 5th…re-signed to the Chargers practice roster on November 15th.
College:
While at the University of Iowa (1999-2003), was a second-team All-Big Ten performer as a senior and a first-team selection as a junior…Also earned Coaches Appreciation Award for defense as a junior…Finished collegiate career with 142 tackles, 21 sacks, 26 tackles for loss and 28 passes break ups….Earned a degree in economics.
