Howard Fest (Howard Arthur Fest) was born on April 11, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas. After going to high school at Edison (San Antonio, TX), Fest attended the University of Texas. Fest made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals the entire time. Fest also played in the NFL for 8 years, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 8 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1971 was Howard Fest's best year.
