There is still more talk going on now about baseball than all of the other sports combined. I think met fans and boston fans are really knowledgeable as well, but their bitterness clouds their judgement at times. kinda like today's democrats. haha.

I've lived in New England for over twenty years now, and never met a bitter Red Sox fan or a Red Sox fan who cared more about the Yankees losing than the Red Sox winning, which I think is the point you were trying to make, though it's hard to tell through your rape of the English language. Yankees fans are more bitter about not having won a WS in six years than Red Sox fans were about having won one in 86 years. Just because Yankees fans are sore losers doesn't mean that all fans are as well.

Now, I'm not saying any Yankee fan wasting his/her on a sports wiki is ill-informed, that person is obviously in the minority and is well intentioned at least. I'm speaking towards the average Yankee fan, or the average person attending a game at Yankee stadium. They, on the average, know much less about their team than a person claiming to be a fan of a small market team, because it takes much more dedication to follow a Royals or a Pirates than it does to follow the Yankees. That is just human nature, not a hit against the Yankees at all, just the way it is.

Wow, unbelievable. I can't escape Yankees/Red Sox. I go on ESPN, they're talking Yankees/Red Sox. I post a Notre Dame opinion, they're talking Yanks and Sox. Wow!

It's really pretty funny, actually. You post an ND article, J Cunningham makes some offhand remark about the Yankees, and suddenly Xinoph and an AF are in a free-for-all flame war! Manny and Xinoph double-team the AF for a while, but then another AF hits the scene and picks up where the first one left off (I'm assuming they're both the same guy). Then Pnatt tries to calm things down -- which is in and of itself a pretty hilarious concept -- and Xinoph shoots him down while simultaneously going at it with the AF(s). All in all, we've got a Yankees/Red Sox clash, a Democrat/Republican/Libertarian flame war, a bit of the Notre Dame/Boston College rivalry thrown in for good measure, and Pnatt moralizing about Xinoph saying "terrible things" in comments (LMAO)... AGM comedy at its finest, folks.
