I think we have all thought about this manny times here at Armchairgm- if a fat slob like David Wells can get into the big leagues what was Minny Stiles problem?

Instead Minny has to stay at home- it's sad really,

Oh, and to answer the question of the title as simply as possible - Wells is a lefty, I'm not.

I had a Brewers scout tell me when I was 18 in a tryout camp that if I was a lefty and 20 pounds heavier he would have signed me right there... (I used to be really skinny)

That and I'm too lazy (I like to quit things) and don't have the grinder's make up to play MLB. It was effort for me to get to the ballpark 3 days in a row when I had press passes, I can't imagine doing it evry day. When I did I play it was bliss and I left it all on the field, but I'm VERY happy with the way things went and are turning out for me... besides, I DID have a cup of coffee while I was in the bigs... literally.

Lazy people are douchebags- and stop making excuses for yourself- I was told that if I was a little faster and had better hands I could have made the NFL- I was scouted but they said no- (sounds stupid doesn't it-- if you were a lefty blah blah blah)- that's the biggest bullshit story I have ever heard.
