Houston Returns To New York!

After two years of knee problems Allan Houston signed with the New York Knicks. He's expected to start practice on Friday, but is not expected in the starting line-up. "After much thought and prayer, I have decided to return to the NBA as a member of the New York Knicks," Houston said.
Houston wasn't productive with the New York Knicks before his retirement. Injuries were an issue, and he couldn't help his team.
He's back, and nothing has changed. Signing Houston doesn't make a difference; he's another "waste" for the Knicks.
The Knicks need help, and Houston does nothing for them. "I have worked extremely hard in the last year and a half to accomplish my dream of playing in the NBA again." He's useless, and bench worthy. He wasn't helpful 3 years ago, and Houston hasn't changed.
"After my wife and I were blessed with the birth of our fourth child last week, I realized that New York is where I am supposed to be, and the Knick uniform is the one I want to wear. I have seen the Garden in some of its best moments, and I truly believe that this team is on the verge of experiencing that again. This team is hungry and energetic. I hope to contribute in the weeks and months ahead." He's old, and doesn't have the ability anymore. Houston lost a step, and hasn't gained it back.
Houston should have stayed retired, because he's losing it. The NBA is different, and the Knicks are worse. Signing Houston doesn't help their chances for the playoffs; I’ll be surprise if he stays the whole season.
"If he's that good, I mean if he's the Allan Houston that we know and we haven't seen him in a while but if he's that good a player, we want good players," Isiah Thomas said. "If we're in a position where a player can help us, we definitely will look at him and make room for him." How does Houston help? He hasn't played in 2 years, and he isn't better then before.
What's wrong with the Knicks? They're "retarded" to sign Houston, he doesn't help anything.
"I will always be a Knick, and I am committed to helping this team competes for a championship." said Houston. Helping them with what? Winning a champion, that's not happening for a while. Houston will be retired, or maybe "dead" when the Knicks win a championship.
"A lot of my friends and people are saying, 'You should go for three more years if you feel good,'" Houston said said. "I'm just thinking about this year right now. If things go like I think they will, playing longer would be something to think about." It's unlikely he'll finish this season. Houston can get injured again, remember he's old.
I'll be surprised if he succeeds.
