T.J. Houshmandzadeh, a Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, will miss Sunday's opener against the Kansas City Chiefs with a sore right heel.

Houshmandzadeh will be replaced in the starting lineup by Chris Henry, and that would result in a trickle-down effect on Cincinnati's third-down alignments.
The Bengals like to play Johnson and Houshmandzadeh on the outside in their three-wide receiver sets, with Henry working out of the slot. In the absence of Houshmandzadeh, it's likely that Henry would still work from the slot, but his snaps would be increased. And the team would probably use Kelley Washington or Tab Perry on the outside in three-wideout formations.
