Hosea Fortune (Hosea Gerard Fortune) was born on March 4, 1959 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at Beverly Hills (CA), Fortune attended Rice University. Fortune made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
