Horace Speed (Horace Arthur Speed) was born on October 4, 1951 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on April 10, 1975 for the San Francisco Giants. Speed played for the San Francisco Giants and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 3 year career.
