Horace Ivory (Horace Orlando Ivory) was born on August 8, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Nolan (Fort Worth, TX), Ivory attended Navarro Junior College and the University of Oklahoma. Ivory made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Horace Ivory's best year, as he ran for 693 yards and ran in 11 TDs.
